Foreclosure

I must say that having a house foreclosed on is a surreal experience. You have perfect credit and then a few wrong decisions later you are staring at a bunch of angry forms from attorneys. Granted the process does take about 7-10 months where during that time you are living mortgage and rent free. But, those are some of the worst months because you have to live in your mistake for that long. It is a horrible yo-yo of emotions where it feels like its the end of the world and then you get in moods where you do not care and you realize there is more to life than money and credit numbers. Hopefully this will allow me to take a step back and reanalyze my situation. Maybe I'll make smarter decisions this time...

Book update

The book is coming along fantastically. I'm really pleased so far with the concepts and ideas that i have wrote down and in my head. Now i just need to get it all on paper and then get it typed. Pretty much the only place that i have to work on the book is, well, at work so that limits progress greatly. The restaurant i'm working at is closing for remodeling soon so i may have some time after we get moved out of the house we are in. (that is another story though) I'm currently, at home, working on a website. It is a twist on video hosting that I think will go over really well. I, of course, wont be devulging any ideas i have on that but once everything is cemented i will be posting it here. (and probably every blog i can click on.) To finish up, go right now and download any 'Above and Beyond' podcast because they are simply the greatest EDM group out right now in my opinion. I wanted to put something witting or engaging but...bah... peace- KC

Walkouts

So about 2 weeks ago a gentleman ( i use that loosely) comes into the bar that i work at. He orders a double jack neat (since he couldn't get wild turkey 101) and a miller lt. then over the course of 30-45 minutes he orders fried mushrooms and talks up all the other bar guests. Really honest, really sincere in his conversations and stories. Well he ends up telling everyone at the bar that he has to go meet his wife, who works at the hospital, right around the corner because she is not sure how to get here. He never comes back. Interestingly enough on another night 2 weeks later he walks in. I recognized him immediately but i left early the last time he came in and was not sure if he ever came in and paid later. I slip away after he orders a double beam neat and a miller lt and confer with the manager on duty. After pulling up computer records for the last night it was confirmed that he never paid. I went back out to the bar and confronted him. At first he was incredibly indignant. "I have never walked out of a restaurant," and "this is insulting" he kept saying. Then he said he would call his wife to verify. Not only was his greeting on the phone to a male person (something to the effect of "hey man") but his wife was not even in the last time he was here. He goes back and forth saying that his wife works right at one of the restaurants across the street and we could go over and verify with her, which once again held no relevance to the topic at hand. Then upon trying to leave to meet his wife one of my friends that happened to be sitting at the bar interjects with, "well why don't you leave your drivers license or credit card while you go to meet your wife?" To this he replies that his wife had his wallet.... Awesome. So ultimately i tell him that we close at nine, if he comes back and pays his tab before then we would start over fresh. He shakes my hand graciously and thank me and heads for the door. I see him wandering lackadaisically down the street staring around. And not that you had to guess but he did not come back. At least it was fun to see him squirm, even if it really didn't bother him after he hit the street.

My Book Update

My book is coming along fantastically as far as I am concerned. The down side to this is far as you the readers (which i believe the number of readers right now is zero) are concerned i have decided not to post anymore of my book up. This is for several reasons. A. I don't want the work stolen. I do plan on having it published one day. B. Why would i offer this work for free when ultimately I want people to buy it. A selfish but legitimate point. And C. Generally the feedback that people leave as comments on websites come in two flavors: Total bashing, or Uber leg humping. The negative bashers also tend to be the quickest to trash something instead of giving actual constructive criticism. So i will stick to presenting the work to people that are more knowledgeable than I and that I trust. So sorry to the one person who might have seen the site so far but i will give updates on the progress.
